也有研究认为甜味剂至少短期内不会体重产生影响[8], 还有少数研究认为用无糖饮料替换生活中所喝的含糖饮料, 将有助于人们减轻体重[9] 。 比如, 最近及一项研究认为, 零度可乐有利于减重[10], 但由于此研究由美国饮料协会(American Beverage Association)支持完成的, 有些科学家就质疑研究的客观性和可信性[11] 。
目前来看, 没有证据表明无糖饮料使用量与体重有什么直接的联系 。 但是, 可以达成共识的一点是, 想要控制体重, 还是要控制总能量的摄入 。 如果你以前喝很多含糖饮料, 现在改喝无糖饮料, 同时控制其他能量摄入, 这就有利于减少总能量摄入, 可能还是可以起到控制体重的作用;但是, 如果你喝无糖饮料却对其他高能量食物毫无节制, 体重也很难减下去 。 无论喝什么饮料, 关键还是要适量、不多喝 。
